To celebrate and acknowledge the invaluable contributions of the pioneers of the Indian women's movement, Jagori had organised a programme on the evening of 9th March 2002 in which 14 women who, through their work and struggle, have established a firm foundation for our own assertions of collective strength, were felicitated. Jagori's Planner 2003 documents this celebration, with the aim of spreading information about the women's movement as widely as possible, and making known the remarkable contributions these women have made to our lives. The planner profiles their lives and their work and provides insights into the history of women's movement in Delhi.
