This report documents the proceedings of the workshop on ‘Women and Health Policy in South Asia: Strategies for Change’ held in November 1999 in New Delhi organized by Sangat and Jagori. The workshop was progressive in its approach and strived to provide concrete grounds to build upon, rather than just a critique of policies of the state and international agencies. The workshop also attempted to broaden the canvas of women’s health issues and not be limited to women’s reproductive health or more narrowly to family planning.
