This report presents the proceedings of 'Trafficking in South Asia: A Conceptual Clarity Workshop' held in 1998 in New Delhi. The workshop was held in pursuit of a clear/er understanding of concepts and strategies to take initiatives pertaining to the issue of trafficking of women and children in South Asia and other critical issues around it. It was deliberated that the issue of trafficking has to be investigated within the construct of the borders between the South Asian states and the emergence of SAARC as their regional convergence.
